You can support the Ukrainian people in their struggle without making excuses for their deification of fascist “heroes” like Bandera or their casual usage of nazi symbolism. If you make excuses for it, you are normalizing nazi symbols as much as the ones wearing it are.

@gravebabe1917 in my opinion a lot of the criticism levied at them during the war is from the vantage point of hindsight 10-20-50 years after the fact. But during the thick of it, without complete knowledge of the realities and facing almost insurmountable odds, they did the best they could.
