@sem_ruijs @MarkEley687400 @Kish_P14 Tel is much older and has shown nothing since joining. In 3 years time when Thompson is Tel’s age he will be 10x the player, I guarantee it. Tel will be sold to Huddersfield town or somewhere like that.

@SB8308715342770 So you don’t buy a left winger then and let Thompson and Moore fight it out with Tel. We have a few players in the academy that can make it possibly in the Prem and that’s Byfield, Lucas Barnett and Lankshear. Donley, Hall, Abbott will have good careers too.

We will regret this. It’s not about starting these young kids out the Academy and when I say young 18 - 20 year olds. It’s about just giving them a debut, giving them 10 minutes here and there, there has to be a success stories to keep attracting the top talent. You can’t just buy your way to success you need club trained players this has to stop. De Zerbi has a 5 year contract I do expect him to fix this pathway issue in time also.

We used to be top 4 because the rest was elite. now we have to rebuild and then we can start using youth unfortunately they are collateral damage

@Kish_P14 What we always do, lean 110% either way. Used to be bring in youth and all about 'the future' and now its all about the now and forget the future. Why cant we do both? I see this as the club being set up for sale. 'Get us back into the top 4 at any price' then sell.
