I see Restores collapse continues — they finished 6th at the Norfolk PCC election. Couldn’t even beat Labour — the most unpopular government in polling history. What a pointless waste of energy.

Watch, Thompson will probably be in the England squad in 4 years

@Bill_unplugged @hotspurjp @WindyCOYS Just bullshit. Arsenal have 3/4 academy players in their first team right now, United have similar maybe even 5 if you count Rashford still. Top clubs can include academy, you just need to know how to offer a pathway and stop signing average youngsters to block pathways.

@hotspurjp @WindyCOYS 99.99% are never good enough for a top 4 trophy competing side. It’s fun cuz it’s all hope and hype but inevitably they’re almost always never good enough

I’m not saying this to be provocative. I genuinely think it’s true. At this point because we’ve offered no pathway for many years we do not have a (fully) functioning Academy. Instead, we have a production line for others. I still think it’s a shame but I’m sort of over it now.

@itsalexwhite1 @Kish_P14 Not really. Moore and Williams-Barnett are number 10’s. Thompson is a pure touchline winger which we don’t have many of in the first team or academy.

@Kish_P14 I agree seeing our youngsters go is tough, especially Bergvall who contributed to winning the Europa League. On this one though.. we have Mikey Moore who’s good to go now and Williams-Barnett too who both cover similar positions as Thompson. Not ideal but we’ll be fine

@landgirlX @empire_res66190 Alcohol damages pretty much every organ in your body to some degree, weed really only damages the lungs but that’s only if you smoke it for years and even then weed causes less lung damage than smoking cigarettes.

@landgirlX @empire_res66190 This isn’t really true. Weed is only a real problem for the brain when you’re a teenager but you shouldn’t be taking any substances at that age anyway. Alcohol will also permanently damage your brain if you’re drinking from a young age, in fact alcohol will cause far more damage
