another thing that helped me a lot was studying from artists i admired, not copying their art directly but paying attention to how they draw expressions, lighting, composition and more

as for learning materials, i really recommend using lots of references at first and practicing anatomy/poses consistently! that helped me the most personally

thank you anon <3 i used to go to drawing lessons back in high school, but when i switched to digital art i mostly had to relearn and figure things out by myself 😭 it honestly took a lot of time and practice +
