Deep down, everyone must know the only fair way to calculate council tax should be per eligible person over 18 residing in that area. Everyone pays. The size or value of your house is completely irrelevant. Four adults in a property? That’s four adults using council services, so 4 adults pay. But @andyburnham and other leaders are too cowardly to do it this way. Punishing those who’ve done well is way easier and mark my words, will be the way they reform this.

Well folks it was day 6 of 9 of Sacked Ex South Wales Police Sgt Rhodri Davies Employment Tribunal against the Chief Constable; today I saw the alleged Instigator of much of his claims one Det Chief Insp Emma Jones now White; She was one of Two officers Rhodri had complained about & named in his First tribunal & hey Ho the force settled just weeks 4 that hearing (I’ll leave that there for now) Thereafter? Rhodri was a marked man & hey Ho she was Promoted to PSD & what a position to be in when Rhodri took down a 6ft 7” Thug in custody suite to protect colleagues which ultimately cost him his job when found in a ‘controversial breach’ of the use of ‘Force’ The incident was referred to? Yep you’re getting good at this PSD! The Thug/Violent suspect did NOT complain; FOUR months later PSD sent an Investigator a Det Con to the suspects house to obtain a statement; you may/will recall the suspect ‘Miraculously’ remembered it was the ‘SGT’ that assaulted me; plus he accused THREE PC’s also of assaulting him🤷‍♂️ Guess who was pursued the SGT & all 3 PC’s? Nah just Rodders! Furthermore Rod’s he’s my mate & it’s what I call him; whilst in the custody suite was NOT wearing his SGT Epaulettes SO? For all sense & purposes his Rank could NOT be defined plus the 6’ 7” thug was a bit off his head & stated he couldn’t remember much!! It is ‘Suggested’ that the DC (I’ll deal with him another time) had put words into the suspects mouth ie how the fuck would he know that Rod’s was a SGT (Rod was wearing a black fleece; so his Epaulettes were covered! The THREE officers were visited for a 2nd time by a PSD Det Con & asked if they wanted to ‘Change’ their original statements NONE did or WANTED to including an INSP; There was an implied threat of ‘Reflective Practice’ along the way as a SUPT had requested that they ALL look at another officers BWC (NOT their own) & CCTV & all felt under pressure but stated that NONE thought SGT Davies had done anything wrong & the force he used was ‘Proportionate’ TWO Senior officers both INSP’s told the Employment Tribunal panel led by a JUDGE that NEVER in their careers 28.5yrs & 25yrs respectively had they seen such behaviour/requests by PSD as it was unethical & could well be illegal (My view as Rods Friend & Advisor I say it’s on verge & could be perverting the course of justice🤔🤷‍♂️) It was put to Chief Inspector Emma Jones/White by Sgt Davies that her Fingerprints were all over this Investigation involving herself in a matter when she knew she was one of two officers named in his original claim; which the force settled out to avoid a very damaging Tribunal; C/I Jones/White came back with a smart response ‘what do you mean fingerprints all over it’ I asked the Judge can I put a Q to her? Yes Mr Brennan but through Mr Davies; “C/I Jones what we are suggesting is that ‘You’ should have had absolutely NOTHING to do with this Investigation due to you being named in a previous grievance as it was a Conflict of Interest & how could Sgt Davies have been given a fair Investigation; you’ve done the review of his grievance; you’ve chased up statements told a senior officer of another force to call you on your personal phone rather that the job phone you are provided with which is against SW Police guidelines; THAT is what having your fingerprints all over this case mean’ MY VIEW? C/I Jones/White (her now married name) had sought her ‘Revenge’ on Sgt Davies & was blinkered to the protocols as to destroy him was her only & ultimate goal; Other Senior officers high up HR Managers stated on Oath that if they were C/I Jones they would have believed an involvement was a conflict of Interest! Sgt Davies was Hunted like an animal by C/I Jones who used PSD like a pack of wolves to bring down & destroy Rod’s & ultimately she played a big part in achieving such! So much more to say (later this week I’ll say more) & closing speeches are tomorrow! Taking out a grievance in policing & winning? Can be very costly!
