in 2024 i launched a memecoin called $WOULD. i was inexperienced and had no following. I knew that my only path towards exposure was getting it in the hands of the tastemakers. I messaged @_Shadow36 to offer him 2% of the token supply in exchange for his backing & marketing it. My coin was at $20k market cap on July 24, 2024 when i sent this message. My message went unseen for months. I had no access to @_Shadow36 then. No way to show him why i knew the coin had potential. I was a nobody, he was a somebody. This blind spot cost me the short term frustration of struggling to grow my coin. This blind spot cost @_Shadow36 $13,000,000 USD. 052026

not sure if it’s just me, but the customer service, experience, and pricing for everything is completely cooked want a coffee? that’s $9 want to buy gas? that’s $5 a gallon bc of Iran war want to buy groceries? that’s $200 at least it’s easy to afford housing and a car and dealing with people is easy, right? want to rent an apartment? well here’s $1000 worth of random paperwork you have to pay so you can sign to overpriced housing and you can’t break a lease unless you pay 3 months rent and if you have bad neighbors there’s nothing you can do about it and nothing gets fixed in a reasonable time want to buy a new car? ok that’s gonna be $60K and let’s lowball the fuck out of you for a trade in and then harass you every minute of the day till you lock in a 15% interest rate oh but there’s more want to go out to dinner? that’ll be $100 for literally any meal and you have to wait 45 minutes to get your food want to buy Pokemon cards from target? can’t do that anymore unless you camp out for 18 hours to get one pack want to buy Pokemon cards from a vendor? get ready to pay over market price because “everything is going up bro” want to go to a sporting event? that’s $700 for tickets, $150 for food and drinks, and $50 for parking oh and not to mention AI is going to automate literally everyone’s jobs, but that’s an entirely different conversation good times we’re living in

honestly not surprised this is a thing crazy part is that these guys most likely get paid deals either way and nobody really suspects a thing companies just care about inflated metrics they would rather see 700 likes and 20k views than 150 likes and 4k views choosing eye appealing creators (by metrics) has always been a thing unfortunately

Help me understand a few things here because it's always wild for me to think how some people even spend their time thinking of acquiring NFT collections. > What's the actual upside for buying an NFT collection VS building a new one? > IP-wise, in any sense, is Supducks even feasible or marketable? 99% of NFT collections are not. > mid 6-figs for a practically dead collection is insane. What factors support this kind of valuation? > what's the historical growth vs projected growth? > does this team even have recurring revenue for this IP to throw numbers like that? Acquiring NFT collections is practically the same as hitting your head with a rock.

The @SupDucks deal unfortunately is not going to happen on my end. Some of you might bite my head off for posting about the deal before the deal was finalized, and I 100% agree. That was straight up stupid of me. I got excited, and jumped the gun. That is on me. And I sincerely apologize for that. My intentions were genuine, and I wanted this to work. But taking up a 6 figure business loan putting up my home as collateral to buy an NFT collection I don't know enough about is something I'm not willing to do. I hope someone will step up and take over the project, and I hope it will be brought back to the greatness it deserves. Sup.
