@Lord_Talbot64 @Landeur There is a small part of me that hopes that the reason the criminally neglegent police in attendance to this incident haven't been hung out to dry *YET* is so as not to muddy the waters for a murder trial jury. The majority of me keeps telling that part to stop being a spacker.

The judge has not lowered or dropped the murder charge. Vickrum Digwa (23) is still on trial for murder at Southampton Crown Court and has pleaded not guilty to both murder and the alternative count of manslaughter (plus carrying a knife). Judge William Mousley KC has simply directed the jury that they can return a verdict of manslaughter as an alternative if they are not satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that Digwa intended to kill or cause really serious harm (the legal element that distinguishes murder from manslaughter in UK law). This is completely standard procedure in every murder trial where the evidence could support it. The jury alone decides the verdict based on the full evidence.

Judge has lowered the charge to manslaughter in the Henry Nowak trial. This is despite Digwa repeatedly stabbing Henry in the back as he tried to escape. I guess you can murder White teenagers and the ‘police’ will handcuff them, the ‘justice’ system will lower your charge.

@Eruben_VT I have 3 drives I install games on, the ones on my "favorites" list go on a gen5, stuff I play from time to time goes on a gen3, and stuff I don't really play anymore but can't be easily be reinstalled (due to mods etc) get stored on an HDD. It only really affects load times tho.

With news of Flatpak 2 possibly requiring Wayland... It's worth noting that not only are half of all Linux users *not* using Wayland... but Wayland's marketshare has actually gone *down* over the last two years. In other words: Anyone making the claim that a hard dependency on Wayland is reasonable because "most Linux users use Wayland"... is not telling the truth.
