@punicist Seen a similar pattern in South Asia regarding how the youth talk online African American slang and typing patterns gets adopted by Gen Z in the west, and then 6 months later through instagram reels the Gen Z kids in the third world start talking on social media in a similar way

@Sabh345 All mass immigration of low skilled immigrants from rural villages in the third world into the west leads to social issues and can be problematic No need to single out South Asian culture here, look elsewhere in Europe where the same is said for North Africans, Arabs, Somalis

Pakistanis have atleast put in huge contributions in healthcare, 2% of the population producing 10% of all the doctors in the NHS Let’s not act as if the biggest thing dominating UK anti immigrant political discourse for the past decade hasn’t been small boat muslim illegal immigrants mainly from Afghanistan, Somalia, Eritrea, Iraq , Sudan etc The last active Pakistani grooming gangs got arrested 15 years ago but are unfortunately still being milked by the far right, despite wide condemnation from our whole community

Also per capita somalis and afghans commit way more crime and are way more reliant on the government. Its like saying whites commit the most crimes. Of course they would as they're the majority. Pakistan is Islam and Islam is Pakistan for British people and may it continue so.
🐴@B0JACKH0R5EMAN

@RizzyHJ I mean south asians are the largest Muslim group in the UK? I doubt anyone non Muslims is fond of Somalis or Afghans

There’s a point where you have to accept the average modern Muslim girl has been brainwashed by modern media and entertainment, into being equally (if not more) liberal as the average non-Muslim girl. It’s blackpilling, but it’s an observable reality The reason why people will disagree with this is because instead of going against religion as the non-Muslim girls do, they’ll try to change religion to fit liberalism. “Khadija RA was a business woman so I can work a corporate job” “Islam is a feminist religion” “All the Hadiths that praise women are true, but all the Hadiths that encourage patriarchy can’t be trusted and they were tampered with” “Every scholar who affirms my emotions is real, the rest of them are just misogynistic men lying” “Uhhhh I wear hijab only for Allah, not to keep myself only for my husband’s eyes” “Actually I don’t have to take care of the house *ignores the commandment to obey her husband if he tells her to*” I could go on and on, but it’s better to accept it as an unfortunate reality than cope about the current state of their mindsets “Why is a hijabi speaking against patriarchy and being pro-abortion?” Because that is what most of them truly believe, and if you keep catering to it and defending it the idea that this is compatible with Islam will continue to perpetuate
Sheikh Lamington@Lamingtons89

Why is a hijabi advocating against the patriarchy and for abortion? It's pretty funny he got doused in curry of all things

I’d rather they carry on hating on us than claim our peoples achievements tbh Personally, I’m very comfortable in my AJK & Pahari identity, we shouldn’t need the selective validation of Punjabis who otherwise peddle racism & hatred against us all the time.
Punjabis Abroad 🇬🇧🇸🇦🇮🇹🇦🇪🇪🇺@punjabisabroad

After the success of Azad Kashmiri athletes in the UK, Punjabis are unsure whether to insult them & call them “inbred”, or to try and claim them. For context, “punjabi” is seen as an insult in Azad Kashmir

The Potohar pleateau is a separate region which begins westwards of the Jhelum River. Paharis of AJK/Pir Panjal are a seperate ethnolinguistic and regional group, not an extension of any other community or region. Its amusing that we suddenly become “the exact same people” when Punjabis want to claim our peoples achievements, but the rest of the time they spread hatred and racism against us and vilify our entire community 🤣

Iran's comparative success at causing visual damage to structures in the US-Iran war is an interesting contrast between Pakistan's struggles to do so in the May 2025 clashes with India.

Before partition, only TWO Muslim subgroups had a "real" middle class : Hindustani Ms & Lahori Ms (not even *all* Punjabi Ms). Meaning : w/o partition, apart from these 2, *all* others would have been virtual slaves, partition *at least* created Punjabi M + Pashtun middle class.
Waqas Gondal@WaqasQadar

Muslim being 30% in West Bengal still couldn’t impede BJP sweep, situation even worse in Assam. United India under Hindutva’s majority federal government would have found ways to confiscate farmland from Muslims in Indus and launch systematic marginalisation.
