@Photobox My albums that I have been curating all year are just mixed up in 10 years of images it's a nightmare to try to sort and no way to reupload in any order so have to start again. Don't worry I ordered from mixtiles last night and will go somewhere else for our annual photo book.
English

@Photobox why did you think a website migration when you weren't ready was a good idea. Went to print out images I've been uploading to an album all year for Christmas gifts and they are gone!

@DavidGQuaid I feel we are having different conversations.
My original comment was someone stating something as fact in marketing not SEO that is wrong. I have evidence to prove it's wrong. Their position as an SEO made people think they are automatically correct.
Have a nice weekend.

No insult/antagonism taken at all. SEO is a computational system - its not magic, its not emotional. If you think something has changed in SEO doesn't it make sense to say X/Y has changed because of A,B,C and you can see it via G,H,I routes to evidence/testing?
Saying that you're upset that "conventional SEO" (is that an easier phrase?) won't change - is that because you want it to change or you think its changed and conventional SEO is holding up "SEO"?
Wouldnt conventional SEO change if Google changed though?
If its tiring that conventional SEO hasn't changed - is that Google not changing? Surely if something doesnt work, then it doesn't work?
Is that the fault of "the old guard"?

@DavidGQuaid I never said anything was out of date but when a person states a fact they should be held to the same scrutiny as everyone else and people be open minded to new voices as well as the more established names

@DavidGQuaid The landscape of marketing is changing IMO but I agree fundamentals of tech SEO are the same as they were 18 years ago when I first started in this industry. I hope now you have more information you won't believe me to be agist & sorry if I have somehow upset you.

Whatever the outcome of the UK election, I hope we try and make the most of this beautiful country, and this miraculous world, and the short time we all have together here, tumbling round the sun on this giant ball.
I hope we try and push politics and the press a tiny bit toward more positivity. Try and help good people to move forward in life, and bring good people here to help us all move forward, and become more prosperous too. Say hello to a neighbour. Raise our eyebrows to a stranger in the street. Throw our litter in the bin. Donate to a justgiving thing for something worthy. Hold the door open for the person behind. Put something in the foodbank box at the supermarket. Have a chat with the homeless person on the corner, even if we don't have any change.
I'm sure I have very good friends who voted for every party, and some who've voted for none. Some who have been waiting with delight for Labour's big win, or for the Tories to be gone, or a particular 'Portillo moment', or for the Lib Dems or the Greens or a particular independent to do a little better than expected, or for Nigel to make his first parliamentary speech. Some who are nervous, or distraught, or simply don't care. And I'm sure they all have their reasons, and concerns, and hopes, and much more going on in their lives beyond political power.
We are all here for just a short time, and things can be tough in so many ways, and a delight in so many others, and most frequently a mix of the two.
Change is here in one small aspect of this all - the people who we occasionally talk of as leading the country, when really they're just guiding along a few aspects of a very complicated system we're all a part of, that's too complex to be fully controlled. Whether that change in the people representing us, and passing laws, is to people you're happy about, or to people you hate, we are half way through the year, with an opportunity to try and do a little better for ourselves, or our families, or our friends, or our colleagues, or our neighbours, and our country, and for the world overall.
Whoever you voted for, or if you voted for nobody at all, I hope the week has been good for you, and the first 186 days of the year ok too, and that - whatever this small change in life brings - the remainder of the year holds some positivity for you too.

The reform numbers are terrifying. The fascist voice live &well throughout Britain.
In a broken country where politicians spent decades blaming foreigners for everything instead of take accountability, this shouldn’t be a surprise

@Elwick70 I live in an area that potentially could beat tories via Labour would prefer to vote lib dem if anyone wants to swap votes they vote lib dem for me in this area ill vote Labour in mine. I'd be happier with Labour and lib dems having more control than tories

If I lived here, I’d be voting for the LibDems. They have the best chance of beating the horror that is Braverman
