The Good News is SO GOOD that any bad news should still be overshadowed by it. If world news is stealing your peace, maybe you need a fresh revelation of the Good News again

Here’s a good perspective to adopt: every time you go somewhere (airport, coffee shop, store, etc), say to yourself “I am a representative of Jesus to every person I meet.” And then pray for the grace to live like it

Complacency (lack of zeal), Compromise (lack of obedience), and Comfort-Seeking (lack of self-denial) are killing the Church.

Jesus didn’t exchange Kingship for servanthood. He showed us that to be a King IS to be a servant.

Okay we're doing a Lent of no secular music, so PLEASE drop your favorite Christian songs in the replies that don't sound...bad Because I'm sorry but the majority of Christian rock/pop/rap is just really not great

@_falsi1ke So many times. And not just the “happy coincidence type things. I mean literally seeing people’s bodies healed in front of me after praying for them

Be completely honest. Has prayer ever genuinely 'worked' for you?

Have faith that anything can happen. And then have trust if it doesn’t happen the way you prayed.

Mary’s words in John 2 are more relevant than ever: “Do whatever He tells you.” Not what society tells you. Or what media tells you. Not what leaders or influencers or people around you tell you. Do whatever Jesus is telling you to do. That’s the only way to true peace, true freedom, and true life.

Fall 2023. I had just finished helping my parents implement a strategy to earn an extra 1 million points/year. I had a crazy thought - what if I could do this full-time? I was making $55k/year and didn't like my job. I had started writing on LinkedIn about credit card points and was helping people put together better strategies, mostly for free. After helping a few people spending a few thousand dollars/month, I asked if my parents would let me take a swing at their points situation. They're small business owners, and spend a lot on cards to keep their business running. When I audited their card setup, I couldn't believe how bad it was. The changes I helped them implement resulted in them earning an additional 1 million points in year 1. And I helped them book a luxury Caribbean trip with their new points. I thought: "Whoah, now THIS could be a big business." It hit me right there. I was onto something. Maybe this super weird niche business could support my family one day? About 14 months later, I made more money from Go Somewhere than I did from my full-time W2 job. I called my boss and quit. And the rest is history. I've been full-time since November 2024 and am still going strong. There can be long days and late nights, but I think as long as I live, I'll always be proud of what I built here, even if the government comes in and shuts down points & miles tomorrow (only half joking). Besides marriage and children, building Go Somewhere has been the most epic and fulfilling thing I've ever done. I continue to share my crazy story because it was posts just like this that gave me the confidence to finally start posting on LinkedIn and start my business. You can just do things, as they say.
