When public office becomes a gateway to unexplained wealth, the nation bleeds.
A Cabinet Secretary has reportedly acquired a Sh100 million property, paid in foreign currency, barely a year after being appointment , in a country where millions are jobless, hospitals underfunded, and basic services collapsing.
This is not a headline. It is a national shame.
Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya is clear: State officers must bring honor to the nation and dignity to the office.
Where is the integrity, accountability, and transparency expected of our leaders?
We must reject a system where overnight millionaires thrive in public service while ordinary Kenyans are burdened with debt and desperation.
This is not leadership. This is looting.

ARREST OF A SUSPECT FOR CREATING DISTURBANCE A suspect has been arrested following reports of a disturbance at the Ministry of Health Boardroom at the Capital Hill Police Station. The suspect, Grace Njoki Mulei, was tracked down to Hombe Road, off Juja Road, and successfully apprehended. She has been taken to Capital Hill Police Station, where she will remain in custody until her court appearance scheduled for tomorrow.

This morning, the legal fraternity mourns the loss of a distinguished member and beacon of excellence. Judy Thongori SC has been a monument of legal prowess and exemplified all the qualities of a professional North Star. Her noteworthy contributions to family law and human rights are timeless and continue to propagate a learning curve for many in the profession. The legacy she leaves behind will remain an indelible mark of her impact that lives on among us.
We condole with all her friends, family, colleagues, and the Senior Counsel Bar for this immense loss. We pray for divine comfort and healing as we contend with this unfortuitous news. May she rest in peace.
