@The_BeeBrief Agreed thought the halftime substitution was unnecessary we were more than decent in the first half and deserved to go in level - got completely overran in midfield and on our right in the second. Hawkins understandably annoyed to be taken off thought he worked harder than most.

Fully deserved defeat today credit to Colchester, they were by far the better side. Even the most optimistic fans might feel the play-off hopes have slipped away now 😂. The second-half subs and tactics were not good and as we’ve said before, some players may not be at the level we’re aiming for. That said, perspective matters. A mid-table finish in our first season back in the EFL is still a solid achievement. There’s plenty to learn from this campaign, and it’ll be interesting to see how many of this squad are still with us next season. What are your thoughts? 🐝🐝

@InvertTheWing What do you actually think Frank can do to turn things around at Spurs? It feels like there was some initial excitement when he came and early positives with defensive structure but build up play feels so slow and predictable and xg creation is at an all time low

And ultimately, this reminds me of post January 2025 league Ange. I go into matchdays having 0 confidence Tottenham can win. I didn’t expect a result today, after the past games. Hence little to no build up talk.

I am considering going to the Tottenham vs. Fulham game on Saturday. However, I will also be attending the Leeds-City game at 3PM. Will it logistically be possible, to watch the game, go from The Etihad to Piccadilly, get the next train to Euston, get off at Seven Sisters, and reach the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium? I will reach Euston around 7:27PM. Google Maps is saying 10 minutes tube to Seven Sisters. Walk must be around what, 40 minutes?

@InvertTheWing Some manager dismissals were very questionable - Mourinho in particular, but I do genuinely believe he cared for the club and wanted success, perhaps going about it the wrong way. I just don’t think that ENIC could put forward another chairman with his same care for the club

@InvertTheWing as a fan I always wanted to see the back of Levy, it never felt like the performances on pitch reflected the success and brand growth off it, however it will only be a real positive in my opinion if ENIC agree a sale. Levy may have been the figurehead but at least he was present.

You feel bad, until you realise this is the treatment every other manager employed by him got. Good riddance.
