Secure information on the card isn’t accessible by devices like a Flipper Zero (we tested it, and plan to put out a video showing this within the next week or so). The private keys are never sent from the card and communication between the card and the mobile app happens over an encrypted channel. If you tap an Arculus card to a Flipper Zero all you see is basic standard non-secret information about the hardware itself. As far as internet connection goes-- you are correct in that you need it to interact within your Arculus Wallet. However, during the wallet creation or restoration process, internet connection is not needed. We do not recommend creating or restoring a wallet on a device that you are concerned may be compromised, but if you have any concerns, you are able to put the device in Airplane mode during this step. And as always-- do not share your 12 or 24-word recovery phrase with anyone, including Arculus (we will NEVER ask for it), and ensure you have it stored securely. 🔐
