This whole toilet thing really grates on me. It is not difficult to find single occupancy, most commonly, unisex toilets in the UK. I have been using these exclusively for the past 2 decades, before and after transition. My bodily autonomy and ability to use synthetic hormones to augment my body as I see fit leaves me with the responsibility to navigate society in a respectful manner. If you are unaware of what you will face after “transitioning” then you shouldn’t be taking the drugs or having the surgeries. If you haven’t thought about all the consequences of your own actions you shouldn’t be prescribed anything. If you haven’t done enough inner searching to come out the other side strong enough to take what will inevitably get thrown at you then DON’T DO IT. Further to that if you do not want to deal with the backlash after you have started the process, shut up, sit down and stop making your entire being about being a flag waving, justice warrior for a cause that has been manufactured by (mostly) men to claim victimhood and regain power in a society that was slowly being pried from their fingertips

@stellacreasy Oh Stella. You plonker. You’ve just given some creep (possibly a few creeps) the best thrill of his fetishy life. You really really need to do more to understand the type of men you’re dealing with here.

The new EHRC guidance on how to ensure equal rights of all to access basic services falls short of being inclusive or workable in the real world - I will continue to work with other MPs who recognise this to navigate how we change that. Given how toxic discussion of trans rights has become am not going to respond to comments here because doubt will help anyone. Posting this video so residents in Walthamstow know of my concerns and actions. Also want to flag to any Walthamstow resident who wants to talk my next open public forum for political debate is on Thursday 28th May at 7pm and all welcome - email my office to rsvp for venue details.

EXCL: Nicola Sturgeon refused to comment and sat in silence for hours during her police interview - despite publicly claiming to be "cooperating fully" with cops thescottishsun.co.uk/news/16305227/…

I, too, was surprised that an MP took at face value a man recounting how he wet himself in public three times because he was too fearful of using public toilets following the Supreme Court judgment. It suggests either male sexual fetish, or v serious mental health issues.
Naomi Cunningham@LoudBonnet

There seem to be 3 main possibilities about the trans-identifying man who wet himself 3x in public since the CoP was published:

How good can a pen be? Seriously, how much of a difference can there possibly be between writing with a cheap pen and writing with a Mont Blanc? 🤔 I need to try one sometime and find out. I knew they were expensive but I didn’t realise just how expensive.

It's interesting to look at the who's who of Nicola defenders. Mainly those that have made a net gain from her tenure.

Not being indicted for a criminal offence really should not function as a complete shield from questions about anyone's failures here.

Have you ever heard the phrase "Ne'er cast a cloot till May is oot"? Even if you have, it might not mean what you think. It's an old Scottish saying that pops up loads this time of year on social media, although last year, a few folk got confused.

The co-signatories to the account included Colin Beattie MSP (still); and the chair of the NEC when questioners were bullied out was Kirsteen Oswald MSP, now a minister in the Scottish Government's Justice team. The other signatory was of course Ms Sturgeon./

Murrell, the estranged husband of Nicola Sturgeon, was a long serving chief executive of the SNP. The party will now face serious questions about its governance during the time of Murrell's offending. dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/…

Lies, bullying, corruption, money, crime. When people show you who they are etc etc. They had a stranglehold on power for a long time. No doubt there will be many skeletons in their closets.

I am currently in Denmark thinking “something is rotten in the state of Scotland”. @NicolaSturgeon may deny all knowledge (yet again) but her leadership style encouraged this culture and made it possible for others to transgress without being held to account.

When the best you have is “omg she was just the wee wife sitting at home and it’s misogyny to blame the wife!” or “what about Michelle Mone eh eh eh?” why even bother? Weakest nonsense. These people don’t deserve your energy, your efforts or your protection.

This is the most lame and flaky defence. She wasn’t just “the wife” though, was she? She was his boss, party leader (she was also blimmin head of govt) and she had responsibilities. She prevented scrutiny of the accounts very aggressively & hid the truth about their contents.
Rosa Zambonini@RosaZambonini

Never have I seen so many “feminists” sticking the boot into a woman. If every wife/gf was to have known/been complicit/an accessory to a mans crimes we’d have many more womens prisons. People seem oddly gleeful and keen to shout down SNP members who are the victims. Odd.
