Tourists from China fought over a spot for taking pictures in an irritating, high-pitched tone of voice during a boat tour to what looks like Kwo Chau Islands (aka Ninepin Group), part of Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark… I’ve done many many hiking and boating trips in Hong Kong during the two decades or so before 2019 but I’ve never come across scenes like this.

@omgsidewalks Or, a home improvement company. I was fitting a small child’s closet for a client. He insisted I quoted him $5,800 for a $580 job. He had no answer when I asked him who would pay $6,000 for customizing a little closet. He was just so full of mistrust. He got the closet.

Heartbreaking scene from China: During a kindergarten outdoor event, parents got into a full-blown brawl right on the grass — completely ignoring their own young children who were crying hysterically beside them. @1ssve The worst part is when teambuilding is done over the weekend which is employees off days. Toxic mgmt make that mandatory and when you can't attend you are deemed as anti-social, non-compliance & difficult employee.

A scam that’s not talked about enough: mandatory team building events that introverts have to recover from for days.

@luxentX There is a misunderstanding that chinese must speak mandarin. Not all msian chinese mother tongue is mandarin. Most of my chinese friends (older generation) speak hokkien, cantonese, hakka or teochew as mother tongues.

Chinese don't speak Mandarin are 🍌 Indians who don't speak Tamil are 🥥 Malays who don't speak Malay are... ❔
