@mdf200 @kilianhekhuis @LinuxJedi With the C64 core, a SuperCPU might well work on the #MEGA65. I can't think of a reason why not, apart perhaps from the SuperCPU having trouble physically fitting if it hangs over the left side of the port, where the MEGA65's power jack goes.

@LAK132 ooh, nice! Interested to hear how it goes. Should be quite possible, I think.

@LAK132 Calypsi C seems a good option for #MEGA65 with its ability to have >64KB code. X11 and/or SSL libraries might be possible with it.

@stationmum101 Poor guy. Hope he's doing fine. Roos are such random 40kg lumps of self-accelerating muscle when it comes to roads. I believe the self-driving car stuff still has no way to reasonably predict their motion, unlike almost other road-side animals.

In today’s episode you of shit you wouldn’t read about: a kangaroo knocked one of our blokes off a moving motorbike.

@stationmum101 Makes sense. I wonder how hard it would be to modify a cardboard box to automatically shut... no cat can resist jumping in one on sight ;)

@servalpaul We actually want to see the cats so we know what we’re dealing with. When our new traps turn up we will hopefully be able to observe them being caught so we can deal with them asap.

@stationmum101 so long as it's not during bushfire season. Very handy on those frosty outback winter mornings, though. ;)

So yeah. That was my morning. Oh & apparently I have been blessed by 10,000 flaming angels. So that’s a bonus.

Would you like to hear a wild story? Who am I kidding of course you would. Today on my way to Adelaide I picked up a hitchhiker. 🧵

@jaseinblack @MEGA65Retro close ;) Except it's a land-line. Someone I know needs a simple to use "land-line" phone, but everything you can buy for that is pretty crusty based on our collective experience. In other words, we need a retro phone :)

@Asher_Wolf @skdh ... it should also be said that much of the problem here is lack of education and quality of education, which means that people aren't equipped for processing complicated information.

@stationmum101 It's how you know cost of living is biting: Even the kangaroos are skipping the cost of a premium paint job and opting for "boring white" instead ;)

@NibblePibbly @StevenCombs Yes, there is still something about datasette loading (when you don't have to do it that way ;). I also want to experiment to see how much data I can cram on a tape with the faster CPU.
