@rwpopulist @CuriousBunnie12 This is only true, as the main poster points out, of places like stadiums, cafeterias, etc. The only restaurants doing that will be chain restaurants but few even do that. Some restaurants might order ingredients from Sysco but even Cheesecake Factory’s food is made in house.

@servingcapreal @CuriousBunnie12 This is interesting. I've watched a bunch of progressive "documentary" style videos on YouTube claiming "almost all restaurant food is reheated Sysco food". Is this just a flat out lie? They did seem at least oversimplified.

working in a restaurant has made the last few days a nightmare for me. “all restaurant food is Sysco food” no it isn’t. “Gen Zers spend all their money on restaurants!” our average customer is 55 years old.
