His victory was hollow, and was just momentary satisfaction with for his ego. His dream is dead & he still has to face all the bullshit he did throughout the movie. We just don’t see it

@sethletb @compy_386 @LaDolceGully everything that happened around him was a consequence of his own actions. he was to blame and was at fault for everything. effectively destroying his career and reputation, almost killing his girlfriend and getting other people killed. all consequences of his actions.

@yukonchihiro @compy_386 @LaDolceGully A consequence of his actions (besides him losing his ping pong dream i agree thats the ultimate dagger) would be him realizing there’s more to life than himself but then getting arrested for all the shit he caused and not getting to experience that lol

I can see that him crying at the sight of his child is just a reminder of how his dream is gone, but based on the music score that’s personally not how i interpreted it

@Cookezilla1 @LaDolceGully Yes I get that but even then he got semi fulfillment in beating his opp. Plus depending on how you interpret the ending I would argue he gets a chance at redemption and finding love for something other than himself. Which i think is completely inconsistent w his character lol

@compy_386 @LaDolceGully i feel like the murders were intended AS BEING the consequences of his actions. his selfishness, narcissism and utter desperation ended up getting people killed and he will have to live with that (although we don’t see the aftermath)

I wonder what it is about CoD as an esport that makes it appealing in a way that so many players from a wide variety of esports attempt to make the switch over.

@HukeTuah Lol Huke used to comm way too hype in mw2 when they first got ghosty and they would get flustered so they made it a talking point to calm down in comms and that’s when they started going on their insane run

I love you Luka but this is unacceptable in the nba finals. You can’t foul bait on 2 straight possessions and fall to the floor, then complain to the refs and allow 2 straight easy baskets on the other hand.

@MavsStan41 It’s another argument whether sga gets these calls at a higher rate (imo he does) but in terms of principle Luka is trying to play the same game sga is but he’s just a better basketball player so it doesn’t look like he relies on it
