With uncapping and instituting the Wyoming rule, you're adding about 100 seats overall which makes each seat more evenly represented. I also explicitly said removing winner take all from State EC rules

@sethornish @thedannistar @JamesSurowiecki @FrankBraconi If you uncap the house then you have to eliminate illegals from the population count. In no way should California and its 5+ million illegals have even more EC votes.

There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.

@thedannistar @JamesSurowiecki @FrankBraconi Uncap the house to add more electors and ban winner take all in the EC. It would be a good balance to being closer to the popular vote as well as not fully eliminating the EC
