Vitor Roque was one of the most overhyped youngsters I've ever seen. He was never exceptionally talented.
Barcelona were baited by Madrid after signing Endrick. So they ended up signing Roque for fear of missing out.
There is no way you would sign an 18 year old from the Brazilian league and expect him not to struggle. The same thing happened with Vini and even Endrick.
Alvarez in comparison was already 22 when he went to city so he was way more mature. Likewise Neymar when he went to Barca at 21. Asllani and Kroupi both play in Europe so adaptation would be relatively simpler.

So far Raphinha and Gordon are fit, Raphinha would always be no 1, the person making that line up is only putting Gordon cos he sees him as "the new wonder signing🤩".....not because he feels Raphinha would be injured.

Raphinha is currently dealing with a serious injury and as we have seen from last season, he might not be available for important parts of the season.
So you will see Gordon starting more often than you think

That the annoying thing bout Barca…it’s like our scouts only go around looking for midfielders…how is it possible we always manage to miss out on quality strikers when they’re young and cheap. Instead we’ll be chasing guys that are 33 years old and above.

Playing for bounemount is different from playing for barca,at barca he will be mark more, depended more with little space to finish chances, alot of pressure! There's reason historically barca don't sign developmental 9's but worldclass
Not even against signing kroupi but if we sign him for 100m+ then he will have to hit the ground running, no patience and that's bad for a 20yrs player who have his breakthrough last season

Roque,Estevao and Endrick all came from the Brazilian league to Europe with very little experience. They were always going to struggle.
Ansu was unlucky with injuries. Asllani and Kroupi already play for two out of the top five European leagues. Big difference.

We bought roque thinking he was the next big thing, Ansu, estevao, endrick were all young players with potential, there're alot of factors that plays a role in player development and environment/club is one of them Those players might have not succeeded if Barca have sign them at those age

The argentine style of dribbling is one that the you see with the likes of messi, tevez, aimar, di Maria. Built on improvisation, tight space manipulation and control, body feints, space finding, efficient yet very daring. Samba is aesthetically pleasing but this is no slouch.
