@BouafifNour We need attackers that can press. High line whithout press doesn’t make sense

There’s definitely been a reduced reliance on the offside trap this season, especially starting from that Celta Vigo away league game if you all remember. But if we want Flick to abandon it completely and allow defenders to properly man-mark attackers and follow their runs consistently, then we need faster and more physical defenders. At the very least, we need one CB and one fullback with strong pace and power, because right now the only defender we have with that profile is Araujo, and he’s too error-prone to fully rely on. We need defenders who can match attackers physically, win duels, and cover large spaces behind them, otherwise we’ll just keep suffering from the same defensive problems.

@PreciyIsi And it's Nigerians over blowing England. Is it colonialism or the visa , we have a weird allegiance to the English in football

It’s inferiority complex Any small thing they achieve they want to overblow it to prove a point. It gets annoying. La Liga teams were doing well then not just because of money, because Barcelona and Real Madrid had PL teams that still outspent them. Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid didn’t even spend shit. It was more about the football. Now tactics and physicality dominate, you need depth, so it’s hard for Spanish teams to compete. But any small exploit their fans will be celebrating it like it’s something new.

The premier League is the No 1 league right now but they are still playing catch up to La Liga in terms of European dominance #europa #astonvilla #premierleague

@PreciyIsi Indirectly but pep broke the cultural barrier, made teams look more into coaching and philosophies/tacticality. While iraola was whooping him, it was a full circle moment. I know that b4 the likes of Benitez, wenger and mou existed, but its never been like this

Coaching movement is indirectly as a result of money. I’m planning a video to address it. I was discussing with a friend yesterday on Xabi Alonso joining Chelsea, and I started explaining how the PL will be interesting next season, and I was mentioning coaches. Bro. I mentioned Maresca, Arteta, Alonso, Emery, Iraola, Slot… and it dawned on me that these guys are foreign in terms of philosophy. They are doing what Saudi Arabia are doing, only at a higher level. Iñigo Perez, Michel Muñoz will all end up there too.

@PreciyIsi I feel coaching movement did more hard than even money

@MoyoRunyararo @MrEli_x Arsenal don't play a lowblock, this is such a casual take, on offense they play a highline that was even a 1m behind ours and because their transition defense is tight they come back compactly into a mid block. Barca fans should watch other teams play tbh outside spain

🚨 𝗛𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘: A lot of noise about how “G. Maldini” was Barça’s most reliable player this season… 👀😭 But if we remove emotions and tell ourselves the truth, we all know the reality. 🔵🔴 💭 Among the teams that reached the UCL semi-finals this season… which one does Gerard Martín actually walk into as a guaranteed starter? 👀🔥

Anyone who thinks De'Aaron Fox is “ducking” or that the Spurs are playing lineup games truly does not understand how dangerous that injury play by Ayo Dosunmu was. Fox basically forced himself to play through the ankle injury in Game 6, and afterward the ankle reportedly responded very poorly with swelling and soreness. This isn’t gamesmanship. It’s the Conference Finals and he's dealing with a legitimately compromised ankle.
SpursRΞPORTΞR@SpursReporter

Mitch Johnson says he’s still unsure whether De'Aaron Fox will play tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2. Sounds like it’ll likely come down to a game-time decision depending on how Fox’s sore ankle is feeling.

@MoyoRunyararo @MrEli_x Yes bayern, psg, arsenal, city, every big team use a highline in offense, we only use an offside trap because our defenders aren't capable of tracking runners physically

@MrEli_x Which Center Backs in the teams that qualified for the CL semis would comfortably play in Barca's highline without getting exposed? It's not Martini, it's the system. W You would find that Araujo would probably be the best CB at Arsenal and Atlético anyday anytime

@footbolmatter10 That is not technicality to you, it's tacticality. Alot of press structures, structures for beating press, 1st phase actions are overly systematic that even a dunce can follow the tactics and execute football, its not that the players are technically elite but tactically coached

@David62939004 You missed the whole point. I’ve always argued against people saying EPL isn’t technical and is just physical and running. I used this match as an example, Laliga fans started saying it’s Spanish managers, I then mentioned non-Spanish managers and non-Spanish greats in Laliga

This guy is the king of false equivalence, whether he does it purposely or not. You made a video taunting and aswell praising the technicality of the epl, which is actually tactically by none the less. You used the bournemouth/city game and we made it known to you that the
Football Matter@footbolmatter10

🚨I often shocked when I listen to some Laliga fans reasoning. You say EPL clubs play well because of Spanish managers, forgetting that Messi, CR7 and a lot of Laliga greatest players are foreign players.

@footbolmatter10 Wenger didn't play positional football, that was aesthetical at best, it wasn't gdp, who revolutionalised gdp and a system that is being played now in epl, it's pep and that is fact.

@David62939004 Also we’ve witnessed wenger, de Zerbi, sarri, bielsa, Hurzeler and a lot of managers who like playing possession based football, but I am also of the belief that not being obssesed with possession doesn’t mean lack of technical ability

Barca needs a squad of great players but also fulla different profiles. For example, keep Balde, whose strengths are defense + ball progression through carries. The other LB can be more offensive, combining in the final 3rd with the LW and doing all that crossing y’all want

@Nyet967104 I don’t just want him to be a set piece specialist, I want him to consistently decide games not just by goals but creating big chances, you and I know Pedri plays passively sometimes all in the name of “keeping possession”
