I like it, reminiscent of Ben White's passes infield to Saka, but the flatness across the middle is super super risky, especially given PSG aren't exactly pinning or blocking the interception points. iirc Timber's tried a few this year and nearly always conceded a counter

@MoeSquare I've talked about this with Bayern and PSG this season. Big teams if they come up against a lower block are very happy to just recycle to GK because oppos now coded to go high press on backwards triggers.

Just rewatching the City-Liverpool game and their second goal is a great example of something I've been talking about quite a lot recently: teams decompressing an opponent to then attack quickly into the space they provoke.
