@pricklyreloaded what kinda sucks is that it takes someone who wants to learn and wants to be better, and someone who wants to be better will already try to learn on their own

Hearing a lot of “Men are teachable” from the feminists (very true, to deny this is bioessentialist)….but why when the Frankenstein projects fail and you guys break up, it always sounds like you guys were dating saddam hussein

@lilreneban @showgirlf @jaynwho if anything doesn’t feminism actually advocate FOR straight women to be in a relationship with a man without inherent power imbalances??

mean lesbian stereotype ★
all of you having to prove that your boyfriend is "one of the good ones" by listing regular ass shit is forever hilarious to me
❤️‍🔥@showgirlf

@yafifsdomain assuming i’d swallow any man’s dick just proves my point and i don’t like most men but my boyfriend is one of the best men i know and he saves lives for a living and loves women but keep coping with being a misogynistic loser who reduces women who date men to dick suckers

@scholarlyphag some peoples feminism doesn’t extend past “hating men” and they never get to the point where they’re actually advocating for liberation from the patriarchy in all forms

It absolutely is though. Feminism is about liberating everyone from sexist oppression and patriarchy. Male rape often goes unreported because of patriarchal ideas of manhood and masculinity. They are interlinked like mad.

@apexbreadeater genuinely like INHERENTLY women having sex with men isn’t evil or INHERENTLY blowjobs aren’t bad but the way they’re treated and the way they’re used to control and demean women IS bad nobody has nuance about these things

The problem with these conversations is everybody loves to fixate on refuting bioessentialism and it's like . Okay maybe men aren't INHERENTLY this way but most men we share this planet with have been conditioned to be misogynists so can we focus on the issue at hand
🦂@grlinpieces_

It’s fine to not have sex. Sex positivity, the theory, hasn’t ever suggested such. However, viewing sex between men and women as inherently degrading for women is harmful and doesn’t make your line of thinking much different from the misogynistic men you say you hate.

@femmepitslicker not only heterosexual relationships but heterosexual marriages as well you theoretically could still be a feminist if you date a guy who is shares the same radfem beliefs (maybe??) but marriage in itself is an institution that has been built on the grounds of oppressing women

@femmepitslicker used to oppress women is what we should be trying to be free of it’s more of the mentality rather than the acts of things themselves

@femmepitslicker most of the problems that people have with feminism is just being kinda unable to see how patriarchy affects personal lives, relationships, and even bodily functions like no one is saying anything is inherently bad or evil it’s just the way it’s seen under patriarchy and is

@lovefooIishh kinda hate how people are saying that it’s just giving birth to a boy that’s problematic when it’s not even really about the gender of the baby it’s just how women are expected to be mothers under patriarchy no matter the gender

@liacll it’s not about giving birth specifically or giving birth even to a boy it’s about how women are expected to be mothers and tied down to their children even if they have only girls it’s the societal pressure and exploitation of women to make them mothers

@les4yuri their feminism starts and stops at bad personal relationships with men rather than actually wanting progress and liberation for women they weren’t really “men-haters” to begin with let alone feminists

@lydialoooks dude do these people not understand why women could even POSSIBLY hate men 🫩🫩 they’re acting like women haven’t been raped, abused, systematically oppressed, sold, killed, and so much more you could say “not all men” but a VAST majority of men hardly speak up for women

@Janesmyass Let me just be clear. When someone says "white people", they are talking about Europeans. "White people" has never meant "people with light skin".

@JessPected feminism that doesn't actively call for the freedom from oppression that women face and just accepts patriarchy is not feminism in any bit whatsoever we need more people to get more radical, and need more feminists to be socialists/communists as well

May I never tweet "feminism" that has more men than feminists cheering it, complete with men calling women slurs in the replies. That would be so humiliating.
The Road Jess Travelled@JessPected

@EOpsych This. I'd add that if more men than feminists are agreeing with you (on anything tbh) you're more likely doing patriarchy than feminism. And that's by design as a lot of men have appropriated feminism to redefine it to serve their interests.
