I played my first sevendeaths gig 10 years ago today, sharing a stage with autechre! The early start meant I managed to get drunk twice but sadly fell asleep during autechre’s set (whilst standing up!). I made up for it by eating most of their rider. What a day.

Spent most of the week doing work permits, so decided to listen to the entire Autechre album back catalogue again. So here's a boring bastard guy in his mid-30s list (subject to change, I'm sure):

@fieldinghope Tri-repetae was my introduction to AE and definitely left a hell of an impact. Not listened to it for 20 odd years though. Will give it a spin again and see if I agree with how well you think it holds up!

@sevendeaths LP5 is amazing but the other above maybe have left a last impact. It does feel low actually... Sign & Plus have solid moments but pale in comparison to the live set releases. They're on a peak just now with those imo!
