this video made me so sad because it was so on the nose that i thought it was parody until she started going on about her dress. she was also clearly preyed upon (18yo bride, decade older husband) and she doesn’t know what she doesn’t know.

@prestonedu1 @KJezerMorton My mom is a principal at an elementary school. Kids are supposed to be potty trained before they start Kindergarten. Every year she has two or three parents who just lie and say their kids are and…hope no one will notice, I guess? Or that they’ll do it for them?

@KJezerMorton The issue is that isn't really the daycare or the schools job. That is why some daycares won't take kids unless they are potty trained. Potty training is part of parenting and a lot of people are opting out

I ask because YT has become the go-to for radicalizing young men through video game walk-throughs videos, etc. I think that site tends to be more insidious than other social media.

@matthewdmarsden When it comes to social media I'm so happy I have a son & not a daughter. My 15yr old has never asked for it and could care less about it. He has YouTube & tiktok, but watches videos of animals, Anime & gaming. He's s signed into my accts so I can monitor what he watches. Simple.

I have 7 kids at home. They get a dumb phone when they get to an age when we need to pick them up from their extra curricular activities. As they get older they get a regular phone, but have restrictions and they are monitored, as is their access to computers. They do not get an email till they are 13. Their school has a no social media policy that parents sign on to. They are not allowed x, insta, snap or facebook till they are 18. No government supervision required. Just good old parenting.

I wouldn’t get married to a man whose primary motivation for doing so is sex on demand. And thats okay! If men get married for that reason and their wife is aware and cool with it, that’s fine too!

They’re talking about feeling safe and secure enough in their relationship to say say, “I don’t think I’d like to have sex tonight.” If two people are so sexually incompatible that they have zero intimacy/sex, they either need to go to counseling or separate.

it's actually a great idea to make out and cuddle every night before bed with zero pressure of it leading to sex. people's intimacy would improve tenfold if women felt safe doing this without fear of it always turning into more and someone getting mad if you don't want to!
