@alamo_ghost are simply too many excellent cars from this era. I really like the GR Supra too, but I sometimes find myself thinking that a certain rough-and-ready charm is important as well.

@sf73t The GR Supra that I have now is fun, but I will always miss my 93 RX-7, it's my favorite car that I've ever owned.

To my dear American friends, 🇯🇵🇺🇸 The bond between our countries right now is incredible! 🍖✨ I’m building an RX-7 (FD3S) in Japan, and I love incorporating American soul into my machine. I’m always shopping at Summit Racing for parts like MSD ignition coils, AEM gauges, and even an LS throttle body. I have massive respect for American engineering! To all the gearheads in the US: Please show me your badass V8 beasts in the replies! I want to see that serious American muscle! 🏎️💨🔥

@Danrockymtfront That’s a massive V8! 102mm E-throttle bodies on both sides… Is the turbo a Precision? The wiring must be a nightmare. Especially with eight cylinders. I’m working on the wiring myself at the moment.

@Good_Morning49 Thank you! As for the suspension, I’m planning to have it made in Japan so that I can arrange for repairs. I really like the Öhlins brand!

@sf73t Since you like American made parts, here’s a shop that specializes in making custom coilovers for the FD. This is their highest end product. You can choose different spring rates depending on tires used or aero setup. sakebombgarage.com/fpspec-ohlins-…

@JDude48 Thanks! This blue is the standard RX-7 blue, but the paintwork has been done really well. Up close, it looks even better than the factory finish.

@TrumpsBnuuy Is this an LS? I’ve got a mate in Japan who’s fitted a V8 into his Supra. It must be a right faff to rewire the whole thing, mustn’t it? What ECU are you using?

If you’ve driven it that far, it’s practically your partner. You’ve never opened the bonnet?! That’s amazing. Maybe Japan’s just too harsh on cars environmentally. Most of them start playing up before they even reach 100,000 km. It really is like having a brother. This interior colour really makes the body colour pop. I’m looking forward to it.

@sf73t It was my first car, I've had it for 25 years, still original block, never been rebuilt, and runs great. I bought the aero years ago, its in storage. It will look like this (except for the wheels)

@RaiuShinohana This blue is absolutely gorgeous. It’s really hard to keep it looking this good. This car’s covered in sand at the moment, too.

@DesmoJustin An FD with an LS3 is unbeatable. It was even featured in 13B TO4R. I had a TO4Z back then too, but I’m currently in the process of switching to a G35-1050. I’ve got a really tidy engine bay, so I’ll show you some photos if I can!

@sf73t I built a 94 FD3S with an LS3 Corvette engine in it. The power delivery was super linear. Prior to that it had a Ported rotary 13B engine running TO4R turbo and dual wastegates. You have a fantastic car!

This FC is absolutely brilliant!!! I absolutely love monsters like this. Thanks for the amazing build. It’s a small-block, isn’t it! I used to run a CD009 myself, but I’m in the process of switching to a Dog Mission setup. So the trend is the CD009 conversion rather than the T56? Is the space in the centre tunnel the issue?
