Throughout the year, we championed hunting's critical role in conservation efforts, countering misconceptions and highlighting its importance for land management and biodiversity. SFF is the only party in NSW protecting hunters and shooters. #nswpol #conservationhunting

NSW farmers and regional communities deserve better! SFF NSW MP Mark Banasiak raised serious concerns about the lack of meaningful consultation on critical water initiatives. Here is his letter to the minister and subsequent media release.

Where is the $50mil for regional connectivity promised by the Nats? Mr Banasiak is wants answers for the town of Grong Grong that has been in a telecommunication dead-zone for years. Third world countries have better communication infrastructure than many of our regional towns.

Hunters and fishers contribute over $3.5 BILLION to the economy in NSW. We keep country towns alive and are both legitimate industries. It is about time the NSW govt recognised Hunters and Fishers contributions rather than needlessly restrict us!

There’s been a lot of concern from shooters who live on state and territory borders and belong to interstate clubs after @nswpolice decided to revoke approval from them. This is another attack on shooters, particularly regional shooters. Here’s Robert Borsak’s letter in response:

Please share. The sneaky Nationals will make a regulation to allow floodplain harvesting in January - when Parliament is not sitting to scrutinise it and everyone else is on holidays Worse still, the NSW Water Regulator - NRAR - have said they'll not be focused on it.

“Gerrymandering (/ˈdʒɛrimændərɪŋ/) is a practice intended to establish an unfair political advantage for a particular party or group by manipulating district boundaries.” How many years did @NSWNationals hold Murray and Barwon and never suggest this until they lost both seats?

The LNP in QLD is going to gift seats to the Greens thanks to their preferences. Can you believe it?

This is a terrible, poorly thought out piece of legislation that will have huge impacts on law abiding firearms owners in NSW. #notacriminal

@AusGovGunFacts @nswpolice Still not fast indeed. We get several complaints each week on this (amongst other complaints about the registry). A good looking graph doesn't help the poor buggers waiting for months on end. Registry should have some expectation placed upon it to provide good customer service.

@sffAustralia @nswpolice The trouble is, their own performance dashboard seems to tell a different story. Still not fast, but increasing processing volume is a good sign! Data from their August PDF (Is Sep data out?)

Robert Borsak: “I attended the opening of Paintballshop.com this week to celebrate the deregulation of paintball and see my mate Michael Whybrew. SFF have fought for a decade for the deregulation of paintball, those involved with paintball directly have fought even longer.
