It took a while, but we've finally released the major version update of CSFML 3 and SFML .Net 3! 🎉 CSFML received a lot of the CMake, testing and CI changes that #SFML had already received. SFML .Net examples now default to .NET 8.

Нахуевертить прыжок в SFML оказалось проще, чем я думал. Выглядит довольно плавно. Даже даббл джамп реализовал (случайно). Надо бы теперь с анимацией движения разобраться. Что? Игровые механики? Потооооом. #gamedev

@gamepopper It's part of the new text example. SFML simply provides better APIs to more easily implement such or similar features on top of SFML. There are no plans for UI elements.

@UridiumAuthor @zafcode If you follow the migration guide, it should be a lot easier to spot the necessary changes. Most of the tedious work is adding some braces to handle sf::Vector2<T> usages and replace sf::Int* with std::int*_t sfml-dev.org/tutorials/3.0/…

@zafcode With careful use of regular expressions it might be possible to fix a few. One can't guarantee that their method names are not innocently used elsewhere. I'd feel safer fixing them one at a time, but it could take days.

To upgrade to the next major version of SFML, I have to fix 352 errors caused by interface changes. I must fix them all, though I don`t understand all the C++ jargon. I have to freeze my code or support both versions. So here`s a question: how many errors is too many to bother?
