November 20th is observed as #TransDayofRemembrance 🏳️‍⚧️ Today, and everyday, we honor the memory of lives lost in acts of transgender violence. 💗✨🩵

"[AIDS] is not being caused by a virus. It's not a virus... These people are dying because of 'poppers'... they were people who were part of a gay lifestyle... " "This is not a viral disease, but it's a disease that is environmental." - HHS Secretary Nominee RFK Jr /1

@typesfast @jbarro The Presidio is owned by a US corporation whose board is appointed by the President. Trump could do the funniest thing...

A lot of people ridicule Trump’s Freedom Cities thinking they will be in the middle of nowhere on federal lands in some barren desert. I love the idea though and think we should put the first one on the former Alameda Naval Air Station on the San Francisco Bay.

Perhaps we should all take a page from France and organize National Strikes when awful policies get implemented by Trump 2.0. Dems have no power alone to stop anything, and just complaining on social doesn’t help either. If work stops from half of the people they’ll take note

The recommendations on giving positive feedback for professionals from @managertools and parents from @GoodInside is... eerily similar. Over & over again, we think positive feedback needs to be for big stuff. But it's frequently noticing the small things that drives behavior.

Please do not blame trans issues or trans people for why we lost. No exit polling or data is showing this as a significant decision point for voters. Trans folks have been and are going to be a primary target of Project 2025 and need us to have their backs now more than ever.

@garrytan While I could argue with you on some of these points, I’m very disappointed to see you endorse an anti-trans point.

One bright spot: Despite hundreds of millions in anti-LGBTQ+ ads this election, every incumbent LGBTQ+ member of Congress was reelected and newcomers Sarah McBride, Emily Randall, and Julie Johnson are joining their ranks. Even amidst the darkness, there is progress.

@HRC_President @lgbtqnation This election doesn’t change our work. We will still entertain and enlighten LGBTQ+ people, amplify their voices, and inspire action. No matter who is in the Oval Office or what party controls Congress, this is our work, and we are committed to doing it. 10/

This morning I wrote a note to my team, then decided to publish it for the world to see. This has been a challenging election season. The result was not what many of us had hoped. 1/
