@ProfJohnCrown John you can buy cartons of double-yolked eggs. They check eggs in the factory by shining a light through them and sort out the double ones for packing and sale as such.

Just cracked 2 eggs. Each had 2 yolks. Wife tells me all six in the tray were double yolked. Explanation? No superstitious interpretations please.

The Trinity St James’s Cancer Institute has become the first & only cancer centre in Ireland to be accredited as a Comprehensive Cancer Centre. This achievement marks a significant undertaking by @tcddublin & @stjamesdublin who jointly established the @CancerInstIRE.

Nearly 60% of university research equipment is over 10 years old. Over a 3rd will be obsolete by 2025 and by 2030 nearly 80% unusable without urgent investment. The government should fund a multi-annual ‘Research Infrastructure & Talent Development Fund’ iua.ie/betterireland/
