What a stupid attempt at point-scoring. You’re doing exactly what people despise about politicians. Nigel and I spent the day visiting a fantastic Further Education college, meeting engineering apprentices and listening to local employers who are crying out for more skilled young people, rather than graduates with dud degrees. Oh, and learning more about a part of the country with poor educational outcomes. I’m very happy to teach you a few things about what we found- especially how Island businesses are being crippled by your government’s tax hikes which are stopping them from hiring young people. But of course, Labour doesn’t care about any of that.
