Am I in the wrong? I was scheduled to work 8am to 4pm. I show up to my shift early and then my manager shows up and decides she wants me to close and come in later because she doesn't feel like closing. I told her that this wasn't discussed with me beforehand and I have already made prior engagements, which means I can't just all of a sudden work a different shift that I wasn't informed about until now. So instead she got upset and just told me that if I won't close then she doesn't want me here at all and sent me home. Like am I in the wrong here?

The owner of a real estate company thought it would be fun to build everyone their own tiny home as an office instead of the typical boring cubicles.
