The Chiefs decided to give Steve Spagnuolo 3 top 40 picks and Patrick Mahomes 0. That’s fine, but there are no excuses next year. Especially with three vets having huge contracts. Also, the bulk of FA was dedicated to D (Tonga, Alohi, Kader). This defense better be excellent.

I still don't understand how Chiefs fans think WR was anywhere remotely close to as big of a need as CB or pass rusher. I don't think you could possibly have a clearer top two needs. Like it is by a very very large margin.

@blanehoward @StangXx I get being upset about edge but we have 3 capable starting WRs and no starting CBs. Lost our three best secondary players in free agency. DE and CB were the top two needs by a very large gap

All you had to have is common sense to realize they were never taking OT or WR (alotta people don't have that). Now they will probably take one at 40 😂 but it was always VERY clearly exponentially bigger holes on defense.

One thing I will say... I don't like the trade up still BUT if CB/EDGE was the plan for the first 2 picks... the positive of corner at the first pick is I like the edge options at 29 a lot more than the CB options
