I'm currently working on new Blitzverse novels in prose, including Blitz and the upcoming Nightwardens. But in the meantime, catch up on the Blitz comic (by me and Tosin Awosika @awotosin), linked below! GlobalComix: globalcomix.com/read/0ebd7c43-…

@zandook Because I hate the whole cycle of "break out of Arkham, escalate new horrible crimes, lose to Batman, fail to get Batman to kill him, go back to Arkham". I think the crazed mass murderer Joker has run its course.

@ElChandler I have a whole rogues gallery for the Nightwardens, but they include: - A vizier of a lost city - A former archaeologist turned apocalyptic cult leader - A former general turned alpha werewolf and mercenary commander - An immortal nobleman who's also an occult plunderer

@DT2ComicsChat The gamma bomb. The thing that created the Hulk and destroyed the Maestro... at the same time.

@zandook Dark Knight Rises was probably the best of them. Flawed, but they did him more justice than Batman & Robin, at least.

In Firestorm, The Nuclear Man #1–5 (1978) you get the 1st appearances of Firestorm, Multiplex, Killer Frost & Hyena. Not bad for a 5 issue series.

Michael Caine says Austin Powers was inspired more by him than by James Bond. “I realised Mike based it on a character I played in The Ipcress File.” “The 60s, glasses, accent. Only thing I didn’t like was the teeth. My teeth are alright.”

I like Scott best as the uncompromising moral pillar of the X-Men. The guy who pushed his team hard and himself hardest. Because the slightest mistake he makes kills people. I hate that this has been lost because some writers think he needs to be "cool" or "edgy".

@zandook Yeah. It's a very different dynamic. Neither of them sees the whole Harvey, just a facet. But Nightwing's dynamic is interesting because he sees the monstrous side, not the man Harvey was.

I like him more as a Nightwing villain than a Batman villain. Bruce sees the good in him, but Dick only sees the monster who traumatized him when he was Robin.
