Dear Mark, We, Iranian patriots, call on President Trump to focus on the regime’s and the IRGC’s power centres, its remaining leaders, senior commanders, and its broadcasting propaganda machine. However, we strongly ask that civilian infrastructure be left intact. The regime and the IRGC do not represent the Iranian people. In fact, they benefit from the destruction of infrastructure, using it to fuel propaganda, distort the narrative, and turn public opinion against the United States. Preserving this infrastructure is essential, as it will be critical for rebuilding Iran after the regime’s fall. Why does the U.S. administration not engage with a genuine alternative supported by the people of Iran, Prince Reza Pahlavi? Why does the U.S. administration not officially pursue regime change? Such an approach will indeed be a win-win for all sides.

There are no pragmatists or reformists affiliated with the regime. If there had been even a single one, they would have been able to stop the regime from mass murdering its citizens over the past 47 years. Stop spreading false narratives. It’s like searching for a pragmatist within the Taliban in Afghanistan or ISIS in Iraq. The number of innocent, unarmed protesters killed during so-called reformist presidents is far greater than under hardliners.
