@adynmelenbacher I did compare fresh and incubated host C mixtures to see if incubation played a role, but neither showed complexes either. Thanks for your question! 2/2

@adynmelenbacher Thanks! One possibility is that host C and the peptide may not have formed a complex, but it’s also possible that the voltage or even the buffer I used may have had an influence. I didn’t adjust the voltage for this mix but that’s definitely something I wanted to try 1/2

@shaemort I just watched your talk for #eSOUSCC48. Great talk! Is there any reason you can think of as for why a complex with host C and the peptide wasn't able to be detected? Also did you try adjusting the ESI-MS voltage parameters in case the complex was being broken up?

@braybray_vale @prof_hleblanc @theresastotes @ASkopyk @jerika_ho Thank you! There have been a lot of successful methods tested so far (for detection), but finding the most effective and practical one is important. I just started my masters, but I look forward to taking the next steps towards this!
