The World AI Summit starts in India today and it’s a great milestone for a country that was mostly known for call centers and IT services. This should give millions of young engineers some encouragement to build from India. Some of the smartest people in the world are coming to speak. Many of you-young founders and engineers may not be there and that’s okay. You shouldn’t feel you’re missing out a lot of action. Sam Altman, Demis Hassabis and Dario Amodei became visible after they built leverage. They weren’t influencers first. The people who will win in AI are sitting with a bunch of their developer friends and shipping code and building a useful tool that has potential to impact millions of people. This is leverage. Use this momentum to launch your feature today or open source something small but useful. If you are a builder, your job is not to be seen but to be useful. That’s what Peter Steinberger did with Openclaw. At the end of this year, nobody will remember who attended which summit. But everyone will remember who built the best tool. Everyday ask yourself- Did someone’s life become meaningfully better because of what I built? There’s a quiet but incredible confidence in people building real things. You gotta feel it.
