You’re right, Sushant. We have a long way to go. But please consider how far we have come. When I joined the company in 1991, the economy had just been opened up. A global consulting firm strongly advised us to exit the car business since we had no chance, in their view, of competing with the foreign brands that would enter. Three decades later, we are still around and competing fiercely. We have used all the surrounding cynicism, scepticism—and even rudeness, as in your post—to fuel our hunger to succeed. Yes we have miles to go before we sleep. There is no room for any complacency and continuous improvement will continue to be our mantra. But thank you for feeding the fire in our bellies….

@whizkidd It's the sakinaka of Thane district ..they have built two bridges which took years anyway but the @CMOMaharashtra decision to concretise highways has screwed it up all the way to Talasari (Parsi Dairy Farm)...and the completed portion feels like a camel ride...that bad !!

If Ramesh from Thane, Savio from Dahisar, and Gurpreet from Bandra wants to travel to Surat by road, they all need to converge at this notorious point in Bhayandar called the Fountain Junction Those aware of this place would already know how bad things could get here. This place has been in a perennial traffic jam for the past decade or so. It's a travesty that the only way in and out of Mumbai -- the financial capital of India -- is this single choke point. The nearest other alternative route is over 25 km away. Let me repeat: There is only a single northbound bridge that connects Mumbai to Northern India. How did we become so incompetent at town and urban planning?

@stockifi_Invest How would they generate revenue to keep sustaining the cost of operations that get impacted due to inflation? Any increase in fares and the people will protest at drop of hat. In my view, Govt has done a brilliant job of generating more revenue without increasing fares.
