I don’t know. I wouldn’t vote for Muslims (or any foreigner, tbh) on principle, but I do meet a lot of Muslims who truly don’t care about their religion. Not just the no haribo but drinking and doing drugs type, but older ones who only go to prayer because of the longhouse. My take is that, judging from the rumours about his behaviour at his previous companies and Reform, he’s basically just in it for himself.

It isn’t.
Charun Magok is Sudanese. He was arrested just off the Kent coast for piloting a small boat across the English Channel on 20 March 2026.
The prosecution was not concerned that he was smuggling people into the UK. They were only concerned that he might be “endangering lives” by bringing a boat with too many people in it
He pleaded guilty.
And just received a sentence of 16 months in prison. Under the early release scheme he is likely to serve about 6 months of that.
Why wasn’t he charged with people trafficking?
Why wasn’t he charged with illegally bringing people into the UK?
Where is the deterrent to stop others doing the same thing.
