I’m told both Bryce Eldridge and Jesus Rodriguez are being called up and will be in SF tomorrow.

The Giants have likely dug their own grave already, but there are a few moves they could make. I am calmed down and thinking rationally now. ➡️Call up Eldridge, start him every day at DH/1B ➡️Schmitt in the lineup every single day at 3B/SS/2B (vs LHP). Adames and Chapman don’t need to play everyday until they wake up. ➡️Call up Jesus Rodriguez. Play him in the Jerar role, and bring him off the bench. Can also play INF. He would take competitive at bats. ➡️No more Walker high leverage. Plenty of guys are throwing well enough to avoid this. There is a LOT of baseball left to be played, but you can’t dip any lower than this. There needs to be urgency, and you need to shake this roster up. Guys should not be comfortable.

@MrHanken @GiantHotTakes Unfortunately I just think bader found his groove in Philly. He looks not even a fraction of the .300/.800 hitter he was over there. If he’s fine playing right- he’s worth it to keep, since encarnation is also awful.

@shamgod77 @GiantHotTakes I don't disagree, but he had what? 10 games? He's a star but didn't play a lot in spring, let him get reps in AAA. Disagree again, sitting them a couple games shows them nothing is guaranteed. Schmitt can play SS and you call up Eldridge when you get back to the city for 1B.
