@carolmswain I am a Trump supporter from the beginning and I agree. When I saw this picture, I immediately thought what poor taste. Those saying he is a "red cross worker" or healing the nation can make all the excuses they want. That is clearly not what this is. Poor taste is what it is.

Actions have consequences. God does not share His glory with anyone. The Bible is clear: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” “On the appointed day, Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people. They shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not of a man!” Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.@ We should be careful when anyone — even a spiritual adviser — likens a president to Christ, as was done during the Easter season. Pray with me April 13, 2026 Father Forgive us for knowing what is right and yet choosing what is easy. Forgive us for building our lives on comfort instead of truth, for loving the world more than we love You, for speaking Your name but not walking in Your ways. Cleanse us, Lord, not just outwardly, but deep within. As it is written in Psalm 51, create in us a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within us. Jesus, You are our only hope. You are not an idea, not a symbol, but the living Son of God who took our sin upon Yourself. You called us to repent and believe, and today we respond. We lay down our rebellion. We lay down our pride. We lay down our excuses. We turn from sin and turn toward You, fully, completely, without reservation. Holy Spirit, awaken what has been asleep in us. Convict what we have tried to justify. Strengthen what has grown weak. Teach us to hunger again for righteousness, to love what You love, and to hate what You hate. As it says in Joel, let us return to the Lord with all our heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning, not as a performance, but as a genuine surrender. Lord, restore what has been lost. Restore our homes, restore our churches, restore our nation, not by might or power, but by Your Spirit. Let this not be a moment of emotion, but a turning point of transformation. Mark us as people who walk differently, speak differently, live differently, because we have truly encountered You. We declare today that You are God, and we are not. You are King, and we bow. Lead us in Your truth. Anchor us in Your Word. Keep us near the cross, where mercy and justice meet. We turn back to You, Lord, with everything we are. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
