@HitchinTownFC Very sad news. A great guy full of positivity. We played cirencester away, Specualtion at training wether the coach would have a tv. Saturday morning we were greeted by a beaten up mini bus (club finances) with pipeman at the wheel. He'd volunteered to drive the 8 hour round trip

Tough decision this morning, it was a big moment in the calendar - Sports Day Dad’s race. I’ve been struggling for a week with a strained lower back & my chiropractor said don’t do anything too strenuous this week so it probably wasn’t the right thing to do. But I had my little girl saying “just give it a try Daddy”. So there was only one thing for it… The expectation & pressure was on. 💭 “Just get out in front & stay there” 1st place, in 2nd gear & thankfully in one piece. See you next year 🥇

A young boy that had a dream, and I lived it, but it’s now time to call it a day! To go to the age of 46 is something I’m hugely proud of. Massive thanks to my former managers, teammates and fans that have supported me throughout. Now to give back to the next generation 💙
