@noprobsju I’m concerned for you here. You’ve got a crocodile chasing you in the bottom half of your glass. I can’t make out if it’s Jabba the hut from Star Wars or an angry mushroom from Mario Bros in the top half. Just hope you’re ok.

I took this photo several years ago in one of the many old, dark, and depressing walkway tunnels that run under the railway line at the bottom end of Halifax. I remember being concerned that the chap in the hoodie and his rather cross-looking dog might object, but they were both quite charming!

@ABFixby The sad thing is, the Salvation Army building to the right is now closed. With a young man sleeping in one of its door ways. Up St. James Street there are 2 Youth Theatres one of which one of the oldest in Halifax.

I remember running along here to catch my bus on my way home from school. I remember meeting my wife here on one of our first dates. I remember calling at the chip shop on my way home from Labour Party meetings. "Memories, Like the corners of my mind ... " Well, more like the corner of St James Road, Halifax, actually!

Wow!!! That really is the end of an era, an excellent era all the same. Fortunate enough to witness it.
