I had the opportunity to share the joy of amphibians with some K-2nd graders after Penn State's Frog and Toad play last week. Jack and I showed off our lab's new children's book about pumpkin toadlets and I talked about some of our research. I even brought my pet frog along!

Have we learned nothing? How are we going to prevent and slow the spread of Bsal onto new continents if we can’t even learn from a pandemic in our own species???

I totally understand taking the masks off to eat, present, and take photos. But it just seems like people have amnesia about the last 4 years. I’ve seen so many people cough and not even cover their mouths 😖
