West Bengal should have been one of India’s richest, most powerful states. Think about it- from the foothills of Himalayas to the Sundarbans, fertile Gangetic plains, Kolkata once the capital of British India and the birthplace of India’s intellectual awakening. Bengal gave us Rabindranath Tagore, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Swami Vivekananda. It led India- culturally, politically, economically. But it took a Left turn and it all went wrong. 34 years of Left rule ruined the trajectory. Industry fled, Strikes became a culture, Capital stopped trusting Bengal. The data tells the story: manufacturing stagnated, job creation slowed & investment dried up. Then came a change in 2011 but the picture remained the same. Under TMC there has been no job creation, no large-scale industry, no big ticket investments. Bengal today struggles with low private investment inflows, weak formal employment growth, industrial scale corruption clubbed with minority appeasement, political violence and erosion of the very values that once defined Bengal. This isn’t the Bengal that once led India. The real tragedy? The potential is still there- Strategic location, Ports, Talent, Culture, Market access to the Northeast and Southeast Asia- but the intent to exploit it is totally absent. Bengal today needs - Welfare - Wealth Creation - Transparent governance - Industrial revival - Policy stability - Transparent jobs - Investment - Long-term growth And if there's one party which has a proven track record of delivering on every front, it is the BJP. One chance to the BJP and we will restore the old glory of Bengal. The land of Vivekananda and Bose will rise again to lead Bharat and reclaim it's position as a shining jewel of Maa Bharti.

This is how international fashion brands kiII Indian crafts. This is East India Company redux. @RalphLauren is selling this PRINTED bandhani skirt for a whopping 44,000 INR, without mentioning that it is Bandhani. First of all, Bandhani or bandhej is a millennia old Indian tie and dye craft technique that has been seen even in the Ajanta paintings. Bandhani is created knot by painstaking knot by artisans whose skill is passed down not in design schools but across generations. Every dot in a bandhani saree is a decision made by human fingers, a tiny act of devotion to craft. Every bandhani textile is unique. Even the word Bandana in English has come from Bandhani. But Ralph Lauren bastardizes Bandhani with a cheap printed cotton wrap skirt, a machine approximation of centuries of handwork, listed blandly and prices it at ₹44,800, with not a word about India, not a word about the artisans whose ancestors built this language of cloth. Real hand done bandhani skirts in Bharat cost less than 5000 Rs! Ralph Lauren stole the aesthetic and erased the ancestry, just like the British East India Company did! Absolutely shameful!

The daughter of a company owner fell in love with a Mu$lim boy... She was madly in love and defied her parents' wishes. Feeling helpless, her parents sought the advice of a friend. The friend's family and their family subsequently went on a picnic together. During the picnic, the friend made it clear that she was on the girl's side. She stated that all religions are equal and that the parents should allow the marriage to take place. Consequently, the girl began to view this friend as her pillar of support. Meanwhile, the boy's calls continued to come in intermittently. The friend took the girl aside, handed her a book translated into Marathi, and said, "You are about to marry a Mu$lim boy, so you ought to be familiar with his culture." The name of the book: *Not Without My Daughter* (Marathi Translation) The girl began reading the book at 11:30 PM, and within just a few minutes, she was knocking on her friend's bedroom door. Her eyes were filled with tears. She said, "This is terrifying; I will not marry him." The friend, however, did not alter her stance. She reasoned with her, "Even if the religion is such, is your love true? If so, let's do this: ask him to embrace the Hindu faith, and we will arrange your marriage. I will convince your father." The girl liked this idea and immediately called the boy to convey all of this to him. To this, the boy retorted, "What makes you think I would change my religion for the sake of a 'two-percent prostitute' like you?" His words seared into the girl's ears as if molten lead had been poured into them. She realized—with crushing clarity—her true worth in the eyes of the very boy she loved more than life itself, and for whom she had defied her own parents. She then flatly refused to go ahead with the marriage. List of Key Books: The Kingdom Behind the Burqa – Carmen Bin Ladin From Tehran Prison – Marina Nemat Infidel and Nomad – Ayaan Hirsi Ali Blasphemy – Tehmina Durrani Not Without My Daughter – Betty Mahmoody Lajja – Taslima Nasrin The Last Girl – Nadia Murad These books are absolute must-reads. Secular individuals, in particular, should be encouraged to read these books so that they may come to know the reality. All of these are autobiographies and true stories.

Tragedies like this often occur due to a "window of vulnerability" or Cold Chain Failure. If the vaccine isn't stored at 2°C-8°C constantly, it loses potency. 4 ways to prevent this from happening to you 1️⃣ The 15-Minute Flush: Immediately wash the wound with soap and RUNNING water for 15 mins. This is the single most effective way to kill the virus at the entry point. 2️⃣ Demand the RIG: For broken skin (Category III), you need RIG (Rabies Immunoglobulin) inside the wound, not just the vaccine in your arm. RIG provides instant antibodies while the vaccine takes 7-14 days to work. 3️⃣ Choose the Right Hospital: Avoid small, local clinics that might have frequent power cuts or poor refrigeration. Go to a major government hospital where cold chain protocols (backup generators/medical fridges) are strictly monitored. 4️⃣ Zero Delay: If the bite is near the face/neck, the virus reaches the brain faster. Start the treatment within hours, not days.
