@imchikachirag I am lucky to witness both sachin and kohli playing for India..😊 and I fear what happens once kohli retires from T20..who will carry his legacy like kohli did for Sachin..🥺
Nineteen seasons.
Nineteen summers.
Nineteen auctions.
Nineteen fresh squads.
Nineteen times people said, “maybe this year age catches up.”
Nineteen times bowlers made plans.
Nineteen times fans carried hope into another IPL.
And through all of it, one man remained.
Virat Kohli in red and gold.
We have seen entire IPL eras rise and disappear in front of our eyes. Legends changed teams. Captains changed cities. Generations changed. The league itself transformed from fearless cricket into data-driven cricket into power-hitting madness.
But one thing somehow stayed untouched.
A man walking out for RCB with impossible expectations on his shoulders.
And still delivering.
Not for 2 seasons.
Not for 5.
Not for a purple patch.
For nearly TWO DECADES.
People will talk about the numbers.
The thousands of runs.
The hundreds.
The chases.
The consistency.
The records.
And yes, they matter.
But statistics alone cannot explain what Virat Kohli has meant to this league.
Because numbers do not capture loyalty.
Numbers do not capture pressure.
Numbers do not capture what it means to carry the hopes of one franchise for 19 straight years in the loudest cricket tournament on earth.
Twelve different IPL seasons with 400+ runs.
Think about that for a second.
In a format designed for chaos…
in a league designed to expose weakness…
through injuries, form slumps, captaincy pressure, scrutiny, trolling, expectations and changing teammates…
he still found a way to show up.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Tonight was not just another innings.
It was another reminder.
That greatness is not only about peaks.
It is about returning.
Every single season.
Every single time people doubt.
Every single time the game evolves.
Every single time younger stars arrive.
And still being the standard.
There are players with bigger power.
Players with crazier strike rates.
Players with shorter bursts of brilliance.
But there has never been another Virat Kohli.
Because nobody has blended hunger, skill, fitness, passion, loyalty, pressure and longevity quite like this man.
For RCB fans, he is not just a player anymore.
He is memory.
He is childhood for one generation.
Adulthood for another.
And inspiration for the next.
Someday the IPL will continue without him.
RCB will continue without him.
New stars will come.
New heroes will rise.
But there will always be a silence when fans realize they once lived in an era where Virat Kohli opened the batting for RCB every summer.
And made it feel normal.
Love you @imVkohli to the moon and back.
🚨🚨VIRAT KOHLI INSTAGRAM POST
Virat Kohli ✍️:
After playing a prank on my fans for a whole year, I've decided it's time to come back to Test cricket. The baggy blue is calling again. See you soon! 💙
@OxygenKohlii18 There are many players waiting for chances. don't you think management should give them a chance to prove.. bad form can cost trophy as fans we don't expect that... Let him take rest and come back strong next match.. give a chance to venky or Duffy or Cox
Look at this innocent face, man 😭
How can you even hate him? I understand the frustration with his batting, but honestly ask yourselves one thing do you really think a genuine power hitter like him would start performing this badly? Of course there is something going on in his head which we can’t see.
Players go through rough phases, and confidence plays a huge role in their game. Constant trolling and abuse only make things worse. I still believe in him, and as supporters, you guys should too.
My playing for next game, if Phil Salt is not available:
1) Jordan Cox
2) Virat Kohli
3) Devdutt Padikall
4) Rajat Patidar
5) Jacob Bethell
6) Tim David
7) Jitesh Sharma
8) Krunal Pandya
9) Bhuvneshwar Kumar
10) Rasikh Dar
11) Josh Hazlewood
12) Suyash Sharma
What is yours??
This is Subramaniam Badrinath
- He's an ex csk player
- Hates rcb and Kohli to the core
Today when Krunal was struggling with pain, he said "just let him die there" in tamil commentary. Later on he covered up that statement by saying he was just joking as he wants rcb to lose.
Is this guy really normal? Star Sports should kick him out of commentary and no ex-cricketer should ever associate with him again 🙏
@Rajiv1841 Give a chance to Cox or Duffy in place of shepherd.. and venky/ddp can play as impact player.. v r criticizing him for current form.. we know he did well in last edition
Don't let this win distract you from the fact that Romario Shepherd almost gave the match in gift package to Mumbai Indians, if not for that Bhuvneshwar's six.
RCB's management mindless backing has to stop at some point. 3 RUNS OFF 11 BALLS, HE SINGLE HANDEDLY COST THE GAME AT END!
@Karthic14379441@Fantasy_d111 We are talking about the present form.. why hardik resting is he not did his best in previous editions..what about Pant,SKY, Bumrah these are all world class players struggling by current form..
@Fantasy_d111 Rcb feens are teasing him because they are 🤡🤡, but he was the person to took shreyas iyer wicket in final I think they forgot it if not pbks easily win the trophy , when ever the player is down you need to support it .
🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨
🚨ROHIT SHARMA DECLINES THE CAPTAINCY OFFER FOR THE NEXT MI MATCH🚨
With Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav unavailable for the next match against Royal Challengers, the Mumbai management approached Rohit Sharma to take over the captaincy. However, Rohit Sharma has reportedly rejected the offer, leaving the team to look for another leader for the upcoming game. [Abhishek Trivedi - TIO Sports]

@rohit83lords@TheCricketView Burning.. kohli is not playing like an impact player .. look how he is in the field full of energy and enthusiasm.. u must accept this... Of course hitman is a great player but doesn't have Aura like kohli..
@TheCricketView How much money does he pay to stay relevant man. We all know Rohit had twice influence and aura than kohli still Kohli wastes his IPL salary on pr paying for all this
@TheCricketView Only one cricket player.. in the list
He doesn't need pr for these things bcoz we all know how active and energetic he is in the ground compared to other players.. 👑 kohli
@Vikrant_1589 His presence just gives a lot of confidence and energy to players.. especially bowlers...if he comes to bat opposition first importance will be his wicket..
🚨 NOT VIRAT KOHLI LOSS… IT’S INDIA’S LOSS 🚨
Question :- Do you think Virat Kohli still has red-ball cricket left in him?
Michael Clarke :-“Come on, it’s Virat Kohli. This guy can walk out tomorrow and smash a double hundred. If someone’s silly enough to write him off, more fool them.
If he retires from Test cricket right now, there’s only one team losing out it's India. Even if the runs haven’t flowed recently, any captain would still back him. He’s a once in a generation player.”
