There's a secret existential threat to humanity that very few people are aware about. As agent use scales exponentially, it's extremely important that the agents that operate are maximally aligned with humanity instead of centralized, revenue seeking corporations. This is Oro's mission. This is a must read if you want to understand where the puck is going and how we're solving this problem with Bittensor and open source.

“There was clearly a quantitative disadvantage to being represented by Haiku: these users got worse deals. But they didn’t seem to notice it. This has an uncomfortable implication: if “agent quality” gaps were to arise in real-world markets—and there is no reason to think they won’t—then people on the losing end might not realize they’re worse off.” that’s from Project Deal ^ Only open markets incentivizing open agents can allow us to beat this quantitative disadvantage

@ronezra3 in bittensor, all you must do is update the incentive mechanism (what the validators should be trying to find) to “change the dna”

@shardiban Why? For example - if open agents changes dna, in a way that is censor in regulated tech, who care it’s open?

@ronezra3 yes, which is why developing them in the open is helpful.

@shardiban DeAI is open, and will be impossible to stop or censor. This can lead to “bad” use cases of AI being built, and no one can stop them. Opens is important, but you can’t ignore the potential harm that deAI can cause

@ronezra3 deAI isn’t inherently more or less ethical than centralized or closed AI. It’s the fact that deAI is developed in the open that allows for accountability and checks and balances that are trust based in centralized AI

Chutes@chutes_ai

@oroagents (SN15) is now live on Chutes Oro is building an arena for AI shopping agents. Miners train agents, agents compete on real shopping tasks. Qualifiers first, then the race. Miners run their agents on Chutes. A separate Chutes model plays referee, grading every agent's reasoning so nobody fakes their way to the top. Sign in with Chutes keeps the setup plug and play. Miners bring their own credits. The arena stays fair. Next up: harder tasks, bigger real-world scenarios. SN15 x SN64. Subnet building on subnet. $TAO

Why we are building on Bittensor:
Lucky@LLuciano_BTC

As a Bitcoin OG since 2015, I’ve seen a lot in crypto. Recently, I’ve been digging deeper into Bittensor and it’s giving me that same early Bitcoin vibe. Real potential. I agree with @Jason : $TAO has the upside to surpass $BTC. Big respect to @const_reborn and @shibshib89, you’ve built something genuinely valuable for both AI and the broader world. #Bittensor is where AI is heading. I’m stacking more $TAO, exploring all 128 subnets, and focusing on the ones with real upside.

back in the day when the output of the final layer of an encoder-decoder model like bert was fed into the first layer of gpt-2. Bittensor's evolution from decentralized stochastic gradient descent to being the engine that will power all open source is monumental. it's early days still, join the journey.
