The other day I said: “Big military operation about to happen.” There were reports floating around that this wasn’t just a rescue—that the U.S. was preparing to go in and secure Iranian uranium. Now there’s analysis circulating claiming this recent mission was a failed uranium extraction attempt. I disagree—and here’s why: 1) The force package doesn’t match the objective. You don’t roll in light for something like that. Securing enriched uranium inside Iran would require a much larger, layered military presence—air dominance, perimeter control, logistics, and extraction redundancy. That footprint simply wasn’t there. 2) No evidence of facility seizure. Any uranium operation starts with locking down the site. These facilities are hardened, defended, and in some cases deeply buried. You would have seen sustained air activity and ground control around the facility itself. We didn’t. 3) Casualties would almost certainly be higher. Iran is not a soft target. These sites are guarded by trained military units. A direct attempt to seize nuclear material would likely result in significant resistance and losses. That didn’t happen. Bottom line: What we saw was a high-risk, deep special operations rescue mission, not a strategic uranium grab. In a side note. This could have been a test for exactly this type of mission. Which is actually my thoughts. A dry test run of the logistics.
