My relatives in Canada post some to me as they think ours isn’t as good and is too expensive. My late mother-in-law who lived in Torquay, used to send me tins of clotted cream. I really miss it, and her.

As we spoke, 2 doves flew in and perched nearby, in full view of the singleton. "He's got a new girlfriend!" we laughed. As we continued watching, the male mounted the female..and our poor little, abandoned tree percher immediately flew away. I have only ever seen a pair since.

Doves...symbol of true love. A pair, always together nest here, always about the garden. Then one day last summer, one perched in the pear tree and stayed there for 3 days. Worried, I was telling my family as we sat outside and we joked that she'd been dumped. (1)

@Sillyshib Met at a club, where I had been dragged by my work friend...he was her ex..she was desperate to get back with him. Long story short, love at first sight...I lost a friend, but gained 46 yrs of marriage, 3 kids and the best 6 grandchildren in the world.

No one should be able to deny that Britain is in an economic & political crisis brought on by Brexit. Yet the govt won’t talk about it. The opposition dare not mention it. The rightwing press won’t cover it. And broadcasters fear they will be damned as biased if they admit it.

@gamtastical @ukiswitheu No. They didn't. I am aware of who Lord Falconer is and also of the quotes seized on by the press from other Labour reps. However, let's be accurate; the quote Johnson attempted (badly) to use was a direct reference to the words of Lord Falconer, taken out of context.
