why is this journalist sipping that jigarthanda like its a cocktail!!? gulp it man. let the concoction concoct good things in you!
Dr P Thiaga Rajan (PTR)@ptrmadurai

Spoke to @NDTV on Madurai’s identity, governance, and the issues shaping the 2026 election. Madurai is a true melting pot, like its iconic Jigarthanda, a blend of cultures, languages, and histories rooted in harmony. On language, we stand for diversity, not imposition, upholding the two-language policy and federal balance. Under Hon’ble Chief Minister @mkstalin, we have balanced growth with welfare, strengthened fiscal discipline, and expanded development even post-COVID. Our campaign is about performance, what we promised, what we delivered, and why continuity means more progress. #VoteForDMK

The things I do in my role are quite across the board. Problem statements come from different corners of the org and I get a front row seat to how these functions operate, think forward deployed engineer internally. In the past 3 months, I've worked on: - solving for pipeline forecasting through an in-house TAM database, a solid data foundation allows for better procesess downstream (Salesforce sync, row-level enrichment through Parallel, hybrid dedup algorithm) - a member copilot so ops/account management can get context on a member's claims without clicking through five systems (sub-agent architecture, generative UI, caching at multiple levels to keep it fast) - a heart health report for @Ganapathi_97 and the world datalabs.plumhq.com/heart-health/ (designed the UI, responsive design, had fun with this one) So come, build with us!
Abhishek Poddar@thesanerguy

Builders represent the best of all of us at any company. These people span functions, seniority, and roles. The only thing uniting them is the obsession around a problem statement that they truly care about – this could be a number, an outcome, or even the simplest of processes. While they reflect every culture code at @getplumhq, they live and breathe our codes of being rock solid reliable and doing work they're proud of. We've been incredibly privileged to work with some of these from day one of building Plum. These are PMs like @sathvikkamath01, who has possibly taken on every role at Plum – from marketing to support to sales – to craft the best healthcare experience for our users. These are HRs like Geetanjali, whose ability to solve for our TA processes got her on Forbes. These are growth engineers like @sharvantg, who has used AI across GTM, product, and support to fix processes that would typically take us months, in days. These are folks like @alexjay_7, who take ownership of solving problems across the board when it comes to customer experience. These are just examples, and there are so many Plum-bers creating real impact despite the most complex constraints. And we want more Builders at Plum to raise the standards we've set – on speed, outcomes, impact, and clarity of thought. And that is why we've launched the Builders' Residency. Over 12 months, you'll work closely with our leadership team over problem statements that resonate the most with you. And if it works out well – you either own the P&L of a product, a function, or begin your entrepreneurial journey with our backing. Apply here: plumhq.com/builders-resid…

TBPN has been acquired by OpenAI! The show is staying the same and we’ll continue to go live at 11am pacific every weekday. This is a full circle moment for me as I’ve worked with @sama for well over a decade. He funded my first company in 2013. Then helped us fix a serious logjam during a critical funding round a few years later. When I took my second company through YC, he was president at the time, and then when I joined Founders Fund, the first deal I saw in motion was the post-ChatGPT round in late 2022. And as we started growing TBPN last year, he was the very first lab lead to join the show. Thank you to everyone that has been a part of TBPN until now. The last year has been the most fun and rewarding part of my career and we’re excited to have more resources than ever going forward.

Crypto is increasingly being positioned as the currency standard for goods on the internet. As behaviour of agentic purchases, whether autonomous or guided, increases we will see adoption of the 'wallet' feature users hate so much. And maybe this will lead more money flowing directly into crypto wallets than bank accounts. This could very well be the way Crypto finds its way into everyday lives. So, to the moon?

There are two kinds of engineers: the coders and the builders. The coders are process people, they do it for the joy of writing great code. The builders are outcomes people, they do it for the joy of solving problems

🚨MUESLI LAUNCH ALERT🚨 renting out speech to text to the cloud never made sense both for dictation and meeting transcriptions! in the last week, I've been building muesli that can drop in replace Granola and Wisprflow with all STT done all locally on your mac - its free and OSS
kuldeep@ku1deep

Unsubscribed to Granola. To me the value is in the raw transcript. I extract specific quotes from them for further work. In any case tools like Granola are I/O peripherals of the new age. I don’t want a subscription attached to them. This is an OS feature honestly.

AI led IT services will be important. We need to make sure outside the bubble every other industry (esp. IT services) is adopting the tech and not getting left behind.
Aakrit Vaish@aakrit

In the 3 weeks since the IndiaAI Summit, @177pc and I have met 43 founding teams. Deeply technical, most in their mid-late 20s, and building for India or with a strong India-edge. Some common themes we saw and like: - AI-led IT Services: What does the Palantir for India look like? Reimagining Infosys/TCS/Wipro AI-first. - Compute for India: As enterprise demand ramps up, the country needs more sovereign inference and infra capabilities. - AI for the "real world": Purpose-built models for material sciences, biotech, manufacturing, security & defence. - Healthcare AI: Both India's AI doctors and AI agents that transform primary care. - Physical AI: More than just the end robots, can India provide the data infrastructure for the world? (Scale AI for robotics) - Voice AI: Everything from foundational research to vertical agents to full stack solutions in what will probably be the largest Voice AI market globally. Indian AI startups will look different and have their own lane. We’re just starting to see the first signs.

if only the people with good “taste” end up having the luxury to do things and the internet gets filled with “tasteful” stuff and as a result LLMs finally learn what good “taste is….then won’t the good taste people also be out of jobs?

@Fintech03 Thanks for this. I once met a guy who said he worked at a lab studying insects, I found that quite interesting. I never knew there was an entire energy/military industry there. Fascinating stuff!

An Indian startup is leading a parallel Bio-Hybrid revolution that the German startup actually cited as a model for biological scaling. Loopworm (based in BLR, founders are IIT-R alums), started in insect-based feed & has pivoted into using silkworms as living bioreactors to produce recombinant proteins & vaccines. Just as the German company uses insects as living platforms for sensors, Loopworm uses them as living platforms for chemical manufacturing. They bypass traditional stainless steel lab reactors entirely. This reactor-free approach is the same philosophy SWARM Biotactics uses to bypass robotics factories.
NEXTA@nexta_tv

In Germany, prototypes of bioelectronic insects for military purposes were unveiled The company SWARM Biotactics has developed a technology that combines living insects with neural interfaces, AI, and sensors, turning them into autonomous reconnaissance platforms. The project has progressed from concept to application within a year, with field tests already completed. The advantage of such systems over drones is their high mobility, low noise levels, and ability to access hard-to-reach places.
